Since 2011 CNN has been shining a light on modern-day slavery. Traveling the world to unravel the tangle of criminal enterprises trading in human life. Amplifying the voices of survivors. Holding governments and businesses accountable.
March 14 is #MyFreedomDay -- a day-long student-driven event to raise awareness of modern slavery.
On this day, a school wide assembly was done and students at Brownsville College Ikoyi were educated on what the CNN Freedom Day is all about and how they, and anyone in their lives can help an make a difference.
